With twenty-five years of professional business management, development, and customer relations experience, Wendy Figueiredo is an asset to our Santa Barbara Region Chamber of Commerce. Having served our Chamber loyally for the past six years, Ms. Figueiredo currently serves as Membership Director responsible for member retention, sponsorships, events, and advertising. In addition, Ms. Figueiredo also oversees our dedicated Santa Barbara Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Council.
Native to Santa Barbara, Ms. Figueiredo did venture to Oklahoma City to study Business Administration at St. Gregory’s University. She began her management career quite early on, and eventually was responsible for expanding and opening store locations in Southern California for The Limited Corporation. Ms. Figueiredo was inspired six years ago to change careers and put her energy into giving back to our Santa Barbara Community. She was attracted to the Chamber of Commerce because of how our Chamber touches and impacts lives, specifically our local businesses, non profits, and tourism industries.
Ms. Figueiredo is a proud mother to a teenage son and in her spare time enjoys volunteering for our local community, and cares deeply for our Maritime Museum, The Unity Shoppe, Santa Barbara Foresters and SBCOC Government Relations Council. When not at work, you may catch Ms. Figueiredo at our local harbor, as she enjoys boating.
