Art From Scrap Welcomes Don French as New Board President

Art From Scrap Environmental Education and Art Center is pleased to announce Don French as their new board president. Don French has been affiliated with Art From Scrap (AFS) for more than a dozen years and has been a member of the AFS Board since its inception.
Don is a graphic artist, an instructor at Brooks Institute, and the owner of French & Associates, a full-service design studio in Santa Barbara. Don has worked closely with the staff at AFS and is the designer of the AFS logos, letterhead, postcards, and appeal letters.
In his new role as AFS Board President, Don “would like to increase public awareness of and expand Art From Scrap’s numerous educational programs.” Don commented, “Most people know us for the Reuse Store and Art events.
